What I Have Learned From slist Ads Part Five Grumpy Edition m4w (Disclaimer: Read with a sense of humor. Its just what I have experienced. 1) My birthday had passed recently. I wanted to take anybody who wanted to help me celebrate out to eat and do something afterwards. In the ad I said would pay for everything dinner, drinks, entertainment. I love going to the Sheraton Inn to celebrate. I cant believe nobody responded to my ad wanting to help. All I was asking for is to celebrate, and you are free afterwards. I just turned 50 too, so my milestone birthday was much lonely and uneventful.
2) I hate Valentines Day. Ive done all the buying flowers and and who knows what else for the evil holiday. All that does is make them run away unless you are hot looking, in which I am not. Hey, at least I admit it. You wont. But even if you did, you still wont go out with me.
3) For whatever reason, nobody wants to meet. Some people respond to ads and all they want is conversation. For unknown reasons, people cannot comprehend that my ads sound like I want to meet. I hate endless or ongoing texts. I want to meet!! Isnt that the idea here? I love texting .
4) For unknown reasons, the conversations I have with "positive people" are amazing. They will be the first to tell you they are positive and yet are very quick to tell you how negative you are without looking at the reality of the situation. Why are you like this?
5) Why is it that "everybody" says they are "attractive"? We all know that "everybody tells the truth" about themselves in their ads. Yet, as much as you want to meet somebody, why dont you say in your ads that you have to be attractive in order for me to talk to you?
6) Why do people who post in the platonic section say they only want friendship but when you respond, they say friendship but want more? What? No need to fill out the rest of this statement .
7) I love the people who post things like "Need a date for .?" or "Somebody to take me out to ." but want you to pay for the night of fun and to not expect anything afterwards. What I have learned was, when I have good seats to a Cavaliers game or a concert, you want to go, but have no plans on ever talking to me again or even admitting you know me until you run out of money and want me to take you out somewhere and pay for your evening of entertainment.
8) What does platonic really mean? It doesnt matter if its slist or any other site, "nobody" cares.
If you are truly a nice person, dont care about age, looks, distance and want a real friend, I would enjoy hearing from you.
