Looking for friendship, someone to chat with... I will preface this by saying I am not exactly optimistic about finding very many REAL people on , but I figured it doesn't hurt to at least try. Okay, here goes nothing... I am a SWM, . I struggled with weight fluctuations most of my childhood, the bullying and all that came with it made things sometimes...and I have finally gotten back down to a very good level, and have made life changes to help keep me here. It makes worlds of a difference for one's self image and on life, let me tell you... I am currently not really looking to do anything but make some new female friends that I can , chat with, and maybe hang out with sometimes perhaps. (Already have plenty of guy friends, and it's a very different dynamic.) I am not shut off to the thought of a relationship in the future if feelings and a connection exist, but I also know that without a good solid friendship and trust foundation to start, most relationships fail. I want to really get to know someone very well as a friend before I jump into any more relationships. I have had some relationships in my past, as most have had, and I am learning from those experiences to hopefully better myself and make me the best I can be for the right person in my future, if there is such a person in existence. I am what you would probably a bit of a nerd/geek...I like my certain video , and I love , especially fantasy ones like LotR and Potter, but also am very into comedy, drama, thriller, and action too. I used to read a ton, but have slacked in that lately. I want to try to work back into finding some good sci-fi/fantasy books to capture my interest. I love music, first and foremost rock/metal/alternative, but I listen to most genres depending on my mood. BUT, my biggest passion above those things, is the sport of soccer. My current career is as a soccer referee as well as doing some behind the scenes administrative work in the local soccer community, and I am looking to expand on this and do even more with soccer. I am a Sagittarius, and the keys for that sign mostly hold up for me...especially in having a nature. (No, I do not follow the star signs at all, but figured I could mention this for reference.) If I want something a certain way, I will definitely voice that desire intently. I am much better in this now than I used to be though, and I am able to come to compromises. I have a bit of a sarcastic side to me, and sometimes my humor is not understood, until you get to know me better anyway. I am probably one of the more emotionally in-tune guys out there by far, and I also have the personality trait of being a "highly sensitive person"...meaning that things one person may hear and think nothing of, I may hear and ponder on and delve into in much greater detail. Those 2 things put together have caused me to get hurt in the past, in some cases the pain being my own fault, and I own up to that. In a relationship, or when I am romantiy interested in someone, I can get very sappy, romantic, and sweet...I have been told I have a certain charm in the way I talk to people and in how my mind works out what I say, though I don't notice it myself that much... I am an honest and down to earth individual, strong willed and passionate about the things that are important to me. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I often find myself giving my trust to people very easily, which I also realize can burn me. Okay, I doubt anybody will even get to the bottom of reading all of this, but if you do, and if you are a female between the ages of about 22 and 32 and have an interest in getting to know more, please me. (Age parameters aren't completely rigid, I mainly want to avoid having mother-son type talks, and on the other side, don't want to feel like I am the one that has had too much more life experience than the person I'm talking to). I am an open book, and I really am looking to find new souls to connect with.
