Or the people that end up going to college out of high school with NO idea of what they want to do, and then realize they are spending thousands of dollars for a meaningless course of study. Those people take a break, work for a while, and then clarify what your interests and goals are and go back to school. There are, reasons why you go back to school. My husband is a full-time professor in difficult field, and spends a lot of time counseling who are at a cross-roads "do I keep on with this field, or do I find something to do?" The economy over the last six years has done a number on a lot of career choices who thought they were going to law school are discovering that new lawyers are significantly unemployed. who majored in education are finding it difficult to find jobs in light of layoffs, etc., etc. Get your head out of your ass and stop making ridiculous extrapolations as to the OP's "commitment" issues or vilifying his educational choices.
